About

LaShane, a native Houstonian, graduated from the University of Houston–Downtown in 1999 with a degree in marketing and communications. With 9 years of marketing experience, LaShane came to the Diocese of Texas and is currently the Graphics Specialist and Web Administrator. She has served in this position for more than 12 years. LaShane is responsible for web content management, print design and the production of the Diolog: Texas Episcopalian, which is printed quarterly. She is also available to consult with web and print issues. She holds a master’s in communications (Professional Writing/Applied Graphic Design) from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. 

LaShane has been a member of Episcopal Communicators since 2007 and served a third year term as a board member. She is a current member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). LaShane also serves as a volunteer at the Beacon, Houston Food Bank, Ivy Educational and Charitable Foundation of Houston, Inc., and chairs several committees as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which is dedicated to service to all mankind. She enjoys cooking, reading, watching documentaries and dancing.
